Still thinking about journaling…

I’m still searching for a good inspirational journaling app.

At the moment I’m looking at “Five Minute Journal” (http://app.fiveminutejournal.com/), “little memory” (https://itunes.apple.com/…/little-memory-remem…/id514233379…), and “Grid Diary” (https://itunes.apple.com/…/grid-diary-simple-w…/id597077261…).

Has anyone ever tried one of those? Or do you have another recommendation?

Right now I’m tending toward trying out “Five Minute Journal”. (“little memory” seems a bit too bare bones, and “Grid Journal” already seems to have too many questions to face every day…)

Because Septentrion liked the idea of journaling templates…

I’m still shying away from actually getting started with my bullet journal, although I bought a really beautiful paperblank for that purpose last autumn. It’s so pretty! What if I mess it up? My somewhat more valid excuse is that I’m still trying to figure out for what and how I want to use it.

On the one hand there’s planning and habit tracking and getting things done, chores, paid work, personal projects. On the other hand, there’s journaling for emotional and mental self-care… reflection to improve my understanding of myself and my journey, gratitude for good things and appreciation of my life, allowing myself to acknowledge achievements to boost my self-esteem…

Do you have any tips and tricks? Do you do any kind of journaling or diary-type blogging?
