Day 11

I’ve been struggling with myself so much last year that this is really hard. Especially since the challenge is not supposed to be about something I perceive on an intellectual level as positive about myself, but something I really feel. Something I really actively like about myself at the moment.
(Can I say that what I like about myself are my friends, my cats, and my beanbag? No? *sigh*)
I guess first and foremost I like that I am struggling. As opposed to, you know, giving up or ignoring shit forever.
And I like that I’m fighting for my creativity, that I do what I can to keep writing and to stay creative.
I also like that I am finally trying to get the help I need (I’ve started online therapy just before Christmas) and that I’m getting better about self-care, about respecting my limits and setting boundaries.
Last but not least I like that I’m still reaching out, or as much as I’m able to right now, anyway. My friends and my fandoms are precious to me, and I want to keep them in my life.
